Johns Hopkins Gazette: August 21, 1995

Changes At "Human Resources Today"

"Human Resources Today" will change both its frequency and
distribution method starting in September.

The information newspaper will be published five times each
academic year rather than nine times.

During the 1995-96 academic year, issues of "Human Resources
Today" will be distributed in September, October, December,
February and April.

Another change for the publication will be its method of
distribution. For the first three years, "Human Resources Today"
was distributed as an insert in The Gazette.

With the September 1995 edition, the publication will be
delivered directly to every university employee via campus mail.
"We made this change because we wanted to ensure that all Hopkins
employees had access to human resources information in as timely
a manner as possible," said interim vice president for human
resources Edgar Roulhac.

The first issue of "Human Resources Today," scheduled for
delivery the first week of September, will contain a feature
article on how to manage change in the workplace, such as
adjusting to a new boss or coping with changes in job
