Giving a Portrait Miniaturist Her Due.
Jamie Franco, a graduating senior, has written a paper that argues the 16th century portrait
miniaturist Levina Teerlinc has been unfairly treated by modern scholars, and that at least several
miniatures previously attributed to a male painter really were painted by Teerlinc.
She recently sat down to talk about the project.
