A Campus Comes Together.

In darkness lit by candlelight, hundreds of students, faculty and staff gathered on upper quad in front of Gilman Hall last Thursday evening for a memorial vigil for the victims of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.

President William R. Brody and Chaplain Sharon Kugler spoke and the Johns Hopkins Gospel Choir sang as students placed flowers at the foot of the steps of Gilman. Students from Jim Trone's advanced video production class were on hand to record the event.

Hyo-Kyung Kim, a film and media studies and computer science major, edited the resulting footage into a video, which can viewed below.
