Commencement 2000 Assistance for Visitors with Special Needs The Johns Hopkins University provides services at the Commencement Ceremony for visitors with special needs. Wheelchairs are available on a first-come first-served basis when guests come to the 34th Street entrance to the campus or may be reserved by calling 410-516-7157. Disability Parking is available at the 34th Street entrance to the campus for cars with handicapped plates or hangtags. Security will direct guests to the disability parking area. Special Needs Seating is located behind the reserved seating section, is available on a first-come first-served basis, and is limited to the person with a disability and two guests. Assistive Listening Devices are available on a first-come first-served basis at the Special Needs Seating section or may be reserved by calling 410-516-7157.
