When: Monday, March 12. Guests arrive at 6 p.m. Ceremony at about 6:25 p.m., ending, with the dramatic illumination of the center, by 7 p.m. Tours until 8 p.m.

Who: President William Brody of JHU. Mayor Martin O'Malley. JHU trustee Donald Shepard, president/CEO of Aegon Corp. Peter Angelos will receive the first Leadership Award of the Johns Hopkins Real Estate Institute, recognizing his contributions to the new Baltimore renaissance.

Background: The center is headquarters of the Graduate Division of Business and Management, part of the university's School of Professional Studies in Business and Education.
