Speakers include Dr. Jose Quiroga, medical director of
Program for Torture Victims, in Venice, Calif., and Karen
Hanscom, director of Advocates for Survivors of Torture and
Trauma (ASTT) in Baltimore. Doctors who complete this
workshop qualify to participate in the ASTT Volunteer
Physicians Referral Network. Sponsored by ASTT and Johns
Hopkins' student chapter of Amnesty International.
