Sen. Paul Sarbanes, D-Md., ranking minority
member and former chairman of the Senate Committee on
Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs, is serving his fifth
term in the U.S. Senate. |
What: |
The Johns Hopkins University
School of Professional
Studies' Ginder Lecture Series. Sarbanes' lecture is
titled "The Crisis in Corporate America: The Legislative
Response." He will discuss the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002
as a response to major corporate and accounting scandals
involving some of the most prominent U.S. companies and an
effort to rebuild public trust in corporate business
practices and reporting. |
