to Speak at Johns Hopkins Fred I. Greenstein, author of The Johns Hopkins University Press book The George W. Bush Presidency: An Early Assessment, will give a lecture based on his book at noon on Wednesday, Oct. 15, in Shriver Hall Auditorium on the Johns Hopkins University's Homewood campus, 3400 N. Charles St. in Baltimore. Greenstein will review the current Bush White House in the context of its modern predecessors through an examination of the president's political agenda as well as his policies concerning the economy and foreign and national security. He will also give an assessment of the president's relationship with Congress and the public. Greenstein's book will be available for sale and signing. Greenstein is professor emeritus of political science at Princeton University and is director of Princeton's Research Program in Leadership Studies at the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs. He is the author or editor of eight books on the presidency and is a fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Science. He is also a past president of the International Society for Political Psychology. This lecture is part of the Wednesday Noon Series presented by The Johns Hopkins University Office of Special Events, now in its 38th season of cultural programming on the Homewood campus.
