2005-2006 Shriver Hall Concert Series
Schedule Announced

The Shriver Hall Concert Series will celebrate its 40th anniversary with eight concerts during the 2005-2006 season, Sundays from September to May in Shriver Hall on The Johns Hopkins University's Homewood campus, 3400 N. Charles St. in Baltimore.

Performances in the series:

Oct. 2, 7:30 p.m. The Takács Quartet with Garrick Ohlsson, piano
Nov. 6, 5:30 p.m. Jonathan Lemalu, baritone, and Malcolm Martineau, piano
Dec. 4, 5:30 p.m. St. Lawrence String Quartet
Jan. 8, 5:30 p.m. Zukerman Chamber Players
Jan. 29, 5:30 p.m. Renaud Capuçon, violin, and Gautier Capuçon, cello
Feb. 26, 5:30 p.m. Vienna Piano Trio
March 19, 5:30 p.m. Jordi Savall and Hesperion XXI
May 14, 7:30 p.m. Angela Hewitt, piano

In addition to the regular season, the Shriver Hall Concert Series is offering a special three-day event in April featuring piano recitals, lectures, exhibits and demonstrations, all in tribute to the series' legacy of presenting great pianists.

PianoCelebration subscriptions are separate from the regular concert series season. They are $250 for guaranteed seating at all events; $129 for guaranteed seating for all performances and lectures for the general public; and $89 for guaranteed seating for all performances and lectures for students. A four-concert pass guarantees seating for Zimerman, Fleisher, Say and Tyner recitals for the general public and is $99, $59 for students. Call 410-516-7164 for information.
