Re: Memorial service for Linda Trinh
When: 10 a.m. noon on Wednesday, Feb. 2
Where: O'Connor Recreation Center gymnasium
The Johns Hopkins University
3400 N. Charles St.
Baltimore, MD 21281

The on-campus memorial service for Linda Trinh will begin shortly after 10 a.m. on Wednesday in the gymnasium of the O'Connor Recreation Center. Classes at Homewood will be suspended from 10 a.m. until 12 noon so that Linda's classmates and friends may attend the service. Linda's family, including relatives from Vietnam, are also expected to attend.

Television crews may set up their cameras on the elevated indoor track surrounding the gym, which will provide a clear view of the ceremony and audience below. A multbox will be provided. Print reporters and photographers will be allowed on the gym floor with an escort from the university.

Limited press parking will be available in a lot behind the O'Connor Recreation Center. From University Parkway, turn onto San Martin Drive. Look for an entrance on the left, just past the rear of the Lacrosse Hall of Fame. Staff will direct crews to unload equipment at a back entrance to the recreation center before parking. There will be no parking in the loop in front of the building. Reporters planning to cover the service should call Amy Cowles at 443-287-9960.
