Johns Hopkins Offers Three New Online Classes
for Engineering Professionals

Through its Engineering and Applied Science Programs for Professionals, The Johns Hopkins University's Whiting School of Engineering has added three new online courses to its Spring 2005 lineup.

The newest online course in the Environmental Engineering, Science and Management Program is Economic Foundations for Public Decision-Making. In the Computer Science Program, the new online offering is Voice Over IP. Also, an online course called Web Site Development has been added to the Information Systems and Technology Program.

These newest online courses, according to EPP Associate Dean Allan Bjerkaas, are part of the school's ongoing commitment to make continuing higher education more convenient and accessible to working professionals.

For descriptions of these new courses, or for a complete list of EPP's Spring 2005 online courses, visit www.epp.jhu.edu/spring_05_schedule/ spring_05_schedule.html.

Formerly known as the Johns Hopkins University Whiting School of Engineering Part-Time Programs in Engineering and Applied Science, the Engineering and Applied Science Programs for Professionals (EPP) offer masters degrees in 14 distinct disciplines. There are currently more than 2,200 students enrolled in EPP programs at seven education centers throughout the Baltimore/Washington area. For more information on EPP programs and functions, contact EPP Senior Director Debbie Hauck at (410) 540-2975 , visit the Web site at www.epp.jhu.edu, or e-mail epp@jhu.edu.
