Spring Fair 2006: April 21, 22, and 23

What: The 35th annual Johns Hopkins Spring Fair, featuring
Free admission and free parking
Carnival rides and inflatable games, located behind the Mattin Center near Whitehead Hall
Craft vendors with quality work hand-crafted by artisans from across the nation and other commercial goods such as jewelry, clothing, pottery, glassware, paintings, drawings, collectibles and literature.
A children’s section with a Dr. Seuss theme, featuring a literacy program with a reading corner and interactive, hands-on activities based on the theme; and entertainment provided by Johns Hopkins student groups.
Food court boasting a variety of items, ranging from festival standards such as funnel cake and hot dogs, to warm weather favorites such as smoothies and ice cream, as well as other American and ethnic cuisines.
A section hosting Johns Hopkins student organizations and nationally recognized non-profit organizations, providing information and raising money for specific causes
Photography contest and student/faculty competitions
Two daytime entertainment stages featuring Baltimore and student bands
Beer Garden featuring six beers on tap provided by Bond Distributing Co.; free entertainment on the Beer Garden stage throughout the weekend
SPECIAL EVENT: The rock band Brand New will perform on Saturday, April 22, in the Ralph S. O'Connor Recreation Center. Doors open at 7 p.m. Tickets are $15. Information available at http://www.jhuspringfair.com.
