Post-doctoral Fellow: Tissue Engineering / Blood-Brain Barrier and Blood-Retina Barrier

A postdoctoral fellow position is available immediately in the Searson Lab at Johns Hopkins University to work on tissue-engineered models of the blood-brain barrier and blood-retina barrier. Projects include: the study of dysfunction in neurodegenerative disease, tumor/vasculature interactions, drug delivery to the brain, and repair in response to injury. Experience in microfluidics, tissue engineering, stem-cell culture, and/or vascular engineering is desirable. NIH salary scale. All candidates must have strong written and oral communication skills, as well as a strong publication record. Candidates should preferably be a US citizen or permanent resident.
