What are Appointments like?

Appointments are completely confidential and take place in the individual counselor offices. We will also conduct phone appointments for students and alumni who are not in the area. You may request to meet with a particular counselor or meet with the first available counselor. Each of the Career Center's counselors are able to help all students, regardless of major or background. Most initial counseling appointments are thirty minutes. Please arrive five minutes early on the day of your appointment.

Peer Assistant Program

We have a highly skilled staff of Peer Assistants ready to help you on a walk in basis. Peer Assistants can review your resume, help you identify resources available in the Career Center, and prepare you to network with employers or alumni.

Drop In Hours

Drop-In Hours are available when classes are in session during the Fall and Spring Semesters. Drop-In Hours begin on September 17, 2012 and end on the last day of fall classes. When Drop-In Hours are not available, such as university holidays, breaks, Intersession, and the Summer Semester, students are encouraged to make an appointment to see a counselor during normal office hours.
