Submitting Materials to 'The Gazette'

Johns Hopkins Gazette Online Edition

The Gazette is published every Monday (or on Tuesday following a holiday) during the academic year, except for Thanksgiving week and the last two weeks of December, and every other Monday during the summer. As the university's official newspaper, it reaches more than 16,000 faculty, staff and students at Homewood, East Baltimore, Peabody, SAIS, APL and at campuses throughout the Baltimore-Washington region and abroad. The following is a brief summary of our editorial components with information on how to reach us.

FEATURES AND NEWS: Hopkins-related activities, including events, work and achievements of faculty, major promotions and appointments, important conferences and other events, new books by faculty, student projects, construction news and the like. CALENDAR: A weekly listing of events--lectures, seminars, conferences, performances, athletic events, nonacademic classes and the like--sponsored by Hopkins departments, offices, organizations and student groups. Listings may be submitted weekly, monthly or by the semester. To receive a calendar form, contact Maria Sills at msi@resource.ca.jhu.edu. Deadline is noon on the Monday preceding the issue date; if Monday is a holiday, deadline is the preceding Friday.
