The Hopkins dome has been replicated in gingerbread to delight patients at the Children's Center. The 40-pound rendition of the East Baltimore landmark was donated by Baltimore International College's classic pastry class and instructor Joe Janowich, of the Harbor Court Hotel. The gingerbread building is featured on JHMI's holiday poster announcing the institutions' 1999 charity donation to Holiday House, which links intensive treatment with housing for drug-dependent women.
