The 1999 Louis Sudler Prize in the Arts -- Graduating seniors at Homewood and fourth-year medical students are invited to compete for the 1999 Louis Sudler Prize in the Arts. The chief criterion for the $1,500 prize is excellence in music, theater, dance, writing, filmmaking or visual arts.

Interested students should submit the following materials no later than Fri., March 5: a completed application form, at least two examples of the student's work and a letter of recommendation from a Hopkins faculty member. Homewood students should submit materials to Julia Morgan, 240 Garland; medical students, to Franklin Herlong, 124 Medical School Administration Building.

The Sudler Arts Prize Committee also considers candidates for the President's Commendation for Achievement in the Arts, a service award to honor a graduating senior who has contributed extensively to the arts in the Homewood community.

School of Nursing Open House -- The School of Nursing will host an open house on Sat., March 6, for students interested in undergraduate, master's, doctoral and certificate programs. Yoga Classes for Faculty and Staff -- The Department of Occupational Health Services, in conjunction with Benefits Administration, is offering yoga classes to Hopkins faculty and staff.
