Fight Arthritis -- The Arthritis Foundation, Maryland chapter, is hosting a joint walk on Sat., May 22, at Oregon Ridge Park in Cockeysville. Walk as an individual, or join the walk by becoming a team captain and forming a team.

Women's Health Survey -- The Comprehensive Women's Health Center Initiative is conducting a survey of the East Baltimore faculty, staff and students of the university and the hospital/health system.
The survey is to be completed by women only; men are asked to give the survey to a significant female friend or family member to complete. The survey asks about services that would be important at a Hopkins women's health center and should take 10 to 15 minutes to complete.

Medical Illustration Graduate Exhibition -- The exhibition, which runs from Thurs., May 13, through Wed., May 26, in the gallery of the School of Public Health, will feature artwork by the six 1999 master of arts candidates from the Department of Art as Applied to Medicine. Additional displays outline the history of medical illustration at Johns Hopkins, techniques and materials and the role of new technologies.

Alumni Association Awards -- Nominations are being sought for three Johns Hopkins Alumni Association Awards: the Woodrow Wilson Award for Distinguished Government Service, the Heritage Award for outstanding service/ contribution to the university and/or the Alumni Association and the Distinguished Alumnus Award for exemplary personal, professional or humanitarian achievements.
