Discussion set on children's reaction to traumatic experiences

In order to help those at Hopkins to better understand children's reactions to traumatic experiences, Linda Lewandowski and other School of Nursing faculty will lead a discussion from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 3, in room 10, lower level of the school. All are welcome.

On Sept. 19, University President William R. Brody and Peabody Director Robert Sirota heralded the official start of Peabody Institute's capital improvement project with a groundbreaking ceremony that included university officials, donors, project architects and trumpet-playing students. The $24 million endeavor will transform Peabody into a more open campus, the centerpiece of which will be a glass-covered grand arcade highlighted by cascading staircases, ornate iron work and Victorian-style lamps. The project has an estimated fall of 2003 completion date.
