Spring Fair + Sun = Three Days of Fun

Johns Hopkins Gazette Online Edition

The sun shone on Spring Fair's new location--Garland Field and the adjacent parking lot--as the Homewood campus was transformed April 27-29 into a food- and entertainment-filled carnival.

The annual event has become a Baltimore tradition, bringing out not just students but Charles Village neighbors and other fun-lovers from all over the city, including Mayor Martin O'Malley, who brought his band and enjoyed the festivities from center stage.

Craft booths were interspersed with food stands this year, making for a lively mix that included cheesesteaks, handmade soaps, fruit smoothies, silver beaded necklaces, pad Thai and fried Oreos.
