Alumni Association Student Funding Programs -- Two grants are available through the Alumni Association. The Community Service Grant was established to support valuable volunteer experiences for Hopkins students and to foster positive relationships between the university and the surrounding communities. The grant supports students who create their own community service projects or design their own ventures within existing volunteer organizations. Many past projects have focused on community outreach and education programs.
The Student Services Grant promotes the student experience at Hopkins by providing funding to student groups or programs and by supporting campus events and activities.
Both grants are open to undergraduate and graduate students from all divisions of the university. Applications are available at divisional alumni relations offices; Steinwald Alumni House, 3211 N. Charles St.; or online at alumni.jhu.edu/students.html.
Applications for summer/fall 2002 funding are due April 15. For more information and for applications, call the Alumni Relations Office at 410-516-0363 or e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
