Johns Hopkins Gazette Online Edition

The annual Hopkins Picnic, planned for Friday, July 26, at Evergreen House Meadow, will feature a first-time-ever celebrity dunking booth, where deans, vice presidents and other well-known Hopkins leaders will take the plunge to benefit local health and human services through United Way of Central Maryland. Each picnic ticket will come with a coupon for one free throw, with additional coupons on sale at the picnic.

The family event also includes all-you-can-eat picnic favorites like chicken, burgers and hot dogs, vegetarian burgers, salads and watermelon; beer and wine; activities for children; DJ Rockin' Billy D; and a magic show by Bill the Balloon Dude. Hopkins VIPs will grill and serve the food.
