Help Local Children for the Holidays
JHHS Community Services is seeking individual or department
sponsorship for 244 children for this coming holiday
season. To see the list and register to sponsor a family or
a child, go to
communityservices.jhmi.edu. New gifts should be
delivered unwrapped to the 550 Building, Suite 500, by Dec.
17.
The recipients are members of an organization called
Hope Village, which was formerly the Broadway Homes Tenants
Association. Hopkins has been working with these families
for several years to improve job skills and to assist in
other social aspects while the families wait to move into
their new homes on the site of the former Church Home and
Hospital.
If you prefer to make a financial contribution to this
effort, send checks payable to JHHS Community Services, 550
N. Broadway, Suite 510, Baltimore, MD 21205. Indicate
"Holiday Gift Giving" on the check. Send any questions to
ttodesco@jhmi.edu.
