Got A Date?

Hosting a seminar, sponsoring a special event or simply having a meeting and need a way to inform the public in a quick and simple way?

Getting the information out has just gotten easier. Beginning this semester, you can use an online form to submit the information to the Johns Hopkins University Online Events Calendar, which is found at webapps.jhu.edu/eventslist.

The online calendar, which is accessible from the university's home and secondary pages, lists events that are open to the general public as well as those that are limited to a specific group, such as students or alumni. Entries on the online calendar are automatically submitted to The Gazette, which is distributed on Mondays and is also available online.

Additionally, events taking place at Homewood are displayed on the campus's i-Site information kiosks. Those events open to the public also get the extra benefit of being published in the monthly "@Hopkins" calendar that is distributed to various locations near Homewood.

To submit your event, go to webapps.jhu.edu/eventslist/ individualEventSubmission.cfm.

You will receive e-mail confirmation that your event was received and entered on the calendar. Events can be entered months in advance and can easily be edited, deleted or marked canceled if necessary.

If you would like more information about entering information either with the online form or through your own account, contact Alicia Campbell, campus information coordinator, at calendar@jhu.edu.
