PC Will Be United Way Lottery Prize
Thanks to Dell Computer, the JHU United Way lottery's
grand prize will be a desktop PC. Here, Frank Paty of Dell
hands over a certificate of purchase to lottery coordinator
Nancy Rent and School of Nursing Dean Martha Hill, campaign
chair for the university. Hopkins employees donating $50
or more to the campaign will be automatically entered for
the drawing, which takes place on Nov. 19. More than 30
prizes have been donated this year and are still coming in.
Among them are numerous certificates for dinner, including
$150 for Linwood's Due Restaurant, an autographed Cal
Ripkin baseball and overnight stays in four great hotels.
