Homewood House took on a presidential aura last month as a History Channel film crew used the 203-year-old Federal era building to pose as an 1860s version of the White House. On June 7, the crew shot scenes for the cable network's upcoming documentary, directed by Vikram Jayanti, that deals with Abraham Lincoln's bouts with depression and his "visions," including a dream he had that predicted his death 10 days before his assassination. Homewood House is featured in a Lincoln dream sequence.

The documentary, whose working title is 'Lincoln's Dark Side,' is slated to air on the History Channel in fall 2005.
