Volunteers Needed for East Baltimore Garden Project

Volunteers are needed from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 24, to assist Civic Works' Community Lot team to transform vacant lots in East Baltimore into parks and gardens. Johns Hopkins employees will work alongside community members to reclaim vacant, desolate space to beautify and green our city. Volunteers will be cleaning litter, clearing overgrowth, preparing the soil or planting. All tools, supplies and gloves, as well as coffee/continental breakfast, bottled water and a box lunch will be provided.
