IMMBI to Hold Inaugural Lecture Today
The
Institute in Multiscale Modeling of Biological
Interactions, a collaboration between Johns Hopkins and
other research institutions, will present its inaugural
lecture today, Dec. 5, in the Mudd Hall Auditorium on the
Homewood campus. President William R. Brody will provide
introductory remarks.
Douglas A. Lauffenburger of the Biological Engineering
Division and Computational and Systems Biology Initiative
at MIT will deliver the lecture at 4 p.m. The title of the
lecture is "Multivariate Cue/Signal/Response Analysis of
Cell Decision Processes."
Preceding the lecture, at 3 p.m., a reception will be
held outside the auditorium. The event is open to all
members of the university community.
