Homewood Student Affairs Honors Those Who Go 'Above and
Beyond'

Homewood Student Affairs presented its first Above and
Beyond the Call Employee Recognition Award to Lynn Stein,
clinical services manager of the Student Health and
Wellness Center, at the 14th Annual Homewood Student
Affairs Breakfast, held Sept. 20 at Homewood. Paula Burger,
vice provost and dean of undergraduate education, presented
the award, which consisted of $500, an engraved plaque and
a certificate of recognition.
The honor was developed this year to acknowledge
exceptional employee performance. The goals of the program
are to promote superior performance and enhance employee
morale, while at the same time showcasing employees'
talents and achievements to the entire HSA division.
Nominations were based on dedication to the
department, division or university; commitment to personal
or institutional excellence; exceptional customer service;
significant positive impact on members of the university
community; ability to motivate and inspire the people
around them; or other displays of outstanding leadership,
professionalism or initiative.
Honorable Mention awards were presented to Maggie
Kennedy, Undergraduate Admissions; Susie Lipscher, Housing
and Dining Services; and Dorothy Sheppard, Student Life.
Also nominated were Adrienne Alberts, Career Center;
Reginald Anthony, Conference Services; Pat Forster, Student
Development and Programming; Bill Harrington, Athletics and
Recreation; Mike Kendzejeski, J-Card Office;
Lynn O'Neil, Student Employment and Payroll Office;
Chris Pace,
Undergraduate Admissions; Betsy Paul, Registrar's Office;
Connie Siebert, Student Health and Wellness Center; Krista
Wilson, Athletics and Recreation; and Kathleen Wisner,
Athletics and Recreation.
