Charles Phlegar Named Interim VP for Development, Alumni
Relations
Following the announcement in October that Robert R.
Lindgren, vice president for
development and
alumni relations at Johns Hopkins since 1994, will
assume the presidency of Randolph-Macon College on Feb. 1,
President William R. Brody said
last week that interim plans are now in place until a
successor to Lindgren is named.
Lindgren, he said, will remain at Johns Hopkins until
Feb. 1 and then will spend one day a week here until July
1.
Effective Jan. 1, Charles Phlegar, senior associate
vice president for development and alumni relations, will
become the interim vice president for development and
alumni relations.
A national search to identify Lindgren's successor
will begin immediately.
