William Snow, Longtime University Treasurer, to Retire
in September
William Snow, treasurer of the university, has
announced that he will retire in September after nearly two
decades of service.
Snow, who joined Johns Hopkins in 1987 and was named
to his current post two years later, will be greatly missed
by his many colleagues, said Jim McGill, senior vice
president for finance and administration.
"Bill has sound judgment and has provided excellent
advice during his many years of service to Johns Hopkins,"
McGill said. "I, for one, have relied heavily on him, and
all of us who have had the privilege of working with him
have enormous respect for his years of dedication,
commitment and loyalty to this institution."
A broad search to name a replacement will begin soon,
McGill said.
