Voice Mail Changes
The deadline is approaching for all users of the Homewood
and Mount Washington telecommunications systems to
initialize their new mailboxes. A new voice mail system
will go into effect on Friday, Dec. 15, and callers will
not be able to leave messages in uninitialized mailboxes
once the new system goes on line. In addition to providing
enhanced features, the new voice mail system will allow for
easy forwarding of messages between Homewood, Mount
Washington, East Baltimore, Bayview and White Marsh. It
also will bolster voice communications disaster recovery
capabilities. Users can find instructions on how to
initialize their new mailbox by going to
www.it.jhu.edu/telecom and scrolling down to the "New
VoiceMail Setup Instruction" link. Anyone with problems or
questions should call JHU Telecom on 443-997-7628.
