Wellness for JHU Faculty and Staff
The Office of
Benefits Administration and
Occupational Health
Services are offering wellness classes to Hopkins
faculty and staff.
Yoga classes for all levels are being held from noon
to 1 p.m., Mondays and Wednesdays, beginning March 27 on
the Homewood campus. Cost for the 10-week session is $30 or
$50 (once or twice a week).
The "Mindfulness Meditation" class will meet from noon
to 12:45 p.m. on Thursdays beginning March 30. Cost for the
class is $35.
Seated massages will continue to be offered on the
Homewood, East Baltimore, Mt. Washington and Eastern
campuses. The 15-minute massage will be given by a
certified massage therapist and costs $10.
Muscle conditioning and toning class will be held from
12:15 to 1 p.m., Tuesday and Thursday afternoons on the
Homewood campus beginning April 18. Cost for the 10-week
session is $25 or $45 (once or twice a week).
Weight Watchers at Work will begin a 12-week session
May 1 on the Homewood campus. The class will meet at 12:30
p.m. Cost is $124. Classes will also meet on the East
Baltimore and Eastern campuses.
Certificate in Nonprofit Studies
The Institute for Policy Studies is
accepting applications and course registration for its
summer classes in the
Certificate in Nonprofit Studies Program. The
certificate courses may be applied toward a nonprofit
concentration in the Hopkins MBA and/or MS/ODSHR degrees.

Career Development Spring Courses
The Career Management Program has added two new courses to
its spring program: Developing Winning Resumes: Which Type
Is Right for You? and Developing a Portfolio/Effective
Interviewing Skills.
