Theatre
Hopkins will present the area premiere of 'Nickel and
Dimed' this week, when, for the first time, the troupe
performs as the guest of Mobtown Players in its Hampden
venue. Adapted from Barbara Ehrenreich's highly acclaimed
book of the same name, the drama chronicles the author's
effort to explore the lives of minimum-wage Americans by
joining their ranks. Led by Mandy Dalton as Ehrenreich, the
cast includes Gail Anderson, Ameerah al-Mateen, Joey
Hellman, Jennifer Johnson and Tawanna Kane. The
production will run three weekends. |
