Change for Hopkins Children's
That spare change rattling around in your desk drawer, coat
pocket
and backpack can add up to real dollars to help care for
the young patients and their families at the
Johns Hopkins Children's Center. Anyone wanting to
become a change gatherer or contributor in
"Change for Change," part of the annual Mix 106.5 FM
Radiothon to benefit the center, can receive a
free kit by contacting Marisa Jaffe, 410-516-7495 or mjaffe5@jhmi.edu.
The person who collects the most money by the start of
the Radiothon, Thursday, Feb. 28, wins
a free lunch and the chance to be on the air with JoJo
Girard and Reagan Warfield on Sunday, March
2. Through its 19 years of broadcast, the 24/7 Radiothon
has raised more than $10.5 million for
patient care and research at Johns Hopkins Children's
Center.
The "Change for Change" program, which continues until
March 2, is sponsored by Mix 106.5 FM,
Advance Business Systems and Wachovia.
