On June 3, more than 200 staff from a cross section of schools and divisions celebrated milestone anniversaries of 20 years or more, and more than 30 marked retirement from successful university careers, at the annual recognition and retirement dinner held at Homewood's O'Connor Recreation Center. Provost Kristina Johnson, filling in for President William R. Brody, acknowledged the work of the recognized staff as integral to the collective contributions that the university provides to society in science and research, education and business, and the arts and humanities.

Staff with five, 10 and 15 years of service will be honored at afternoon receptions throughout the month.
