Welch Library Classes
Welch Medical Library is offering a free class this week on
May 13, from 9
a.m. to noon, in the Welch Library Mezzanine. Writing
Effective Abstracts provides an opportunity to
learn practical guidelines for producing an abstract that
really works, is informative, interesting and
concise. Both well-written and flawed examples will be
analyzed to discover what editors and readers
expect to see in the abstract of a research manuscript and
to learn how to avoid common pitfalls.
Pre-registration is required for the classes. To
register, go to
www.welch.jhu.edu/classes/freeclassregistration.cfm.
