Request for SoM Postdoc Abstracts
The Johns Hopkins Post-Doctoral Association is
soliciting abstract submissions from postdoctoral fellows
throughout the School of
Medicine for its Scientific Seminar Series.
The authors of the top 10 abstracts (as judged by the
JHPDA executive council)
will be invited to present their work between February and
July. Awards totaling $1,000
will be distributed among the top three presenters, who
will be judged on the basis of
their presentation skills and scientific impact.
The format of the talks is 20 minutes, with five
minutes for questions. Abstracts,
250 words or less, should include names of three faculty
members qualified to judge the
content of the work. Abstracts and talks should appeal to
an interdisciplinary audience.
Abstracts should be e-mailed to Minghui Xiang at firstname.lastname@example.org or
by Friday, Jan. 25.
