Krieger Summer Intensive English Language Program

Spaces are still available for the 2008 session of the Krieger School's Summer Intensive English Language Program, scheduled for June 30 to Aug. 1. The IELP gives non-native English speakers daily classes in Oral Communication, Reading and Writing, American Culture, TOEFL Prep and English for Medical Professionals. The English immersion continues after class and on weekends, when participants join social activities, including Orioles baseball and sailing. Testing on the first day of the program provides appropriate placement in intermediate, advanced and advanced-plus skill levels.

Classes are open to the entire Johns Hopkins community and their families and friends. JHU postdoctoral students and employees may be eligible for tuition remission.

For more information and to register, e-mail esl@jhu.edu, call 410-516-5431 or go to www.jhu.edu/ltc/esl.
