You and the Flu

In order to keep the entire Johns Hopkins community informed about the rapidly changing status of H1N1 influenza A (swine flu), the university's Office of Government, Community and Public Affairs has launched a dedicated Swine Flu Information Center Web site, located at flu.jhu.edu.

This is the site that faculty, staff and students should consult for the latest information on the university's operating status, guidlines for employees and students, and updates on such matters as travel advisories.

The University Information section provides links to updates and news, JHM flu podcasts, CEPAR, health resources and frequently asked questions. A General Flu Information area links to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the World Health Organization and other sources explaining the flu. Flu News on the Web includes links to information about higher education flu cases, Google and Twitter maps and relevant news media.

The site does not provide information from Johns Hopkins Medicine to its employees on clinical issues. Such information is on the Johns Hopkins Medicine intranet.
