Elementary school students from Baltimore City Public Schools hoist their trophies as top
finishers in the citywide chess tournament, held recently at Homewood's Glass Pavilion. The
tournament, sponsored by Johns Hopkins' Center for Talented Youth, involved 175 students from 42
schools.
