JHU Press Book Sale

The Johns Hopkins Press annual book sale is slated to take place on Wednesday, March 25, and Thursday, March 26, in the Glass Pavilion at Levering Hall, on the Homewood campus. Remainders of JHU Press books are being sold at the reduced price of $3 per pound. Sales are by cash and check only.

College Day, scheduled for noon to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, March 25, is set aside for college students. Students can bring identification from any college and purchase quality books at reduced prices. The sale for the general public is Thursday, March 26, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

NHLBI Short Course on Myocite Modeling

Biomedical researchers and clinician-scientists with a strong interest in understanding the process of developing, implementing and applying mathematical biological system models are invited to apply for the NHLBI Integrative Computational Modeling of the Cardiac Myocyte Short Course, which will be offered July 20 to 24 at the Mount Washington Conference Center. The deadline to apply is June 1.
