Staff Recognized
For Service

The School of Hygiene and Public Health combined their staff recognition event with their annual staff appreciation luncheon on April 19, recognizing 915 years of combined staff service to the school.

Dean Alfred Sommer, Senior Associate Dean for Finance and Administration Herbert Hansen and Vice President for Human Resources Audrey Smith were on hand to recognize the 10 staff members celebrating 15 years of service. Each was presented with a Regency arch clock. Forty-six staffers celebrated 10 years of service, receiving an etched Gorham crystal paperweight; and 61 staff members celebrated five years of service and received personalized certificates. A dinner planned for June will honor university employees and qualified retirees with more than 20 years of service.
