A seminar on the principles and practice of Falun Gong is scheduled for nine days, from Saturday, May 23, through Sunday, May 31. The free sessions will take place in the Garrett Room of the Milton S. Eisenhower Library from 7 to 9 p.m. Videotaped lectures will be shown each day. Interested individuals can preview the new master of science in marketing cohort program, offered by the School of Continuing Studies, at an open house scheduled for Friday, June 5, from noon to 1:30 p.m. The open house will take place at Hopkins Washington, D.C. Center, 1625 Massachusetts Ave. N.W. The program, offered only at the Washington, D.C. Center, provides a thorough foundation in strategic marketing and allows students to complete the graduate degree in three years in a cohort format, studying and progressing with the same small group of motivated professionals. An MCAT preparatory course will be offered on the Homewood campus, beginning June 1 and continuing every Monday and Wednesday for 10 weeks, from 6 to 9 p.m. The course, consisting of approximately 60 hours of instruction and review, will be held in 111 Mergenthaler. The fee, which includes the manual and practice exams will be $480. Registration forms are available in 235 and 238A Mergenthaler.
