     "Let Us March on 'Til Victory is Won," is a Black History
Month exhibit on display at the Eisenhower Library through March.
The exhibit was researched and written by sophomore Patrique
Campbell, events chairwoman for Homewood's Black History Month.

     For the exhibit, Campbell examined a number of groups that
had made contributions to the civil rights groups in the 1960s.

     "I wanted to give people a historical backdrop so they could
understand the significance of each group," Campbell said. "I
don't think many people know or appreciate much of the civil
rights movement these days beyond the roles played by a few
leaders."

     Among the groups exhibited are the Southern Christian
Leadership Conference, which supported the Rev. Martin Luther
King Jr.'s work; the Student Non-Violence Coordinating Committee,
a grassroots group of black college students that staged sit-ins
for civil rights; and a variety of other groups that made a
difference.
