"That's Frahnkensteen"
Young Frankenstein — Mel Brooks' 1974 spoof of Mary
Shelley's classic mad scientist tale — was one of
eight movies shown during this year's Summer Outdoor Film
Series. Each Friday night during June and July, about 300
Johns Hopkins students and neighbors brought blankets and
snacks to the Homewood campus's Keyser Quad for
family-friendly films such as King Kong, Wallace &
Gromit: Curse of the Were-Rabbit, and The Chronicles
of Narnia. Pre-film entertainment included, on various
evenings, live music, stand-up comedy, and balloon
sculpture. |
