“When I look back, I’m always surprised at how much we were able to accomplish. By the time I graduated, we’d created events and traditions that I think really added to my experience and to the larger Asian American and campus communities as well. Now, out in the working world, I’m busy with similar opportunities, applying skills that I learned and practiced as a Lambda. My decision to pledge was based on the premise that I’d change Lambdas more than it would change me. I think that’s held true – not just for me, but for just about everyone who’s gone through. As an environment where the goal is for each member to become better, Lambdas is simply a place for people to contribute to what’s already there, whether that be leadership skills, academic or or career advice, or an intensely strong social network. For those that can seize the opportunity, it’s time well spent.” - Elliot Loh, Theta Chapter

What is rush?

Rush is a two week period at the start of spring semester for anyone interested in Greek life to attend the events we host. The main goals are for you to meet our members and learn more about our organization, as well as to see if you are a good fit for our fraternity. Events are held almost every day to showcase the different aspects of the fraternity.

Should I attend all rush events?

If you are serious about joining Lambda Phi Epsilon, we highly encourage you to attend every event from beginning to end. Because the weeks of rush contain highly diverse events, you may benefit from seeing all the aspects of this fraternity. In the end, we are a family, and the more you experience Greek life, the more equipped you are to decide whether a brotherhood is something you want in your life.

Am I required to pledge if I attend rush?

There is absolutely no obligation to take action after rush has ended. Rushing is simply an opportunity for you to become more familiar with the fraternity and its brothers. If the brothers see you as a good fit for the house, we will offer a chance for a formal interview, possibly followed by an invitation to pledge the fraternity.
