During the sale, the Johns Hopkins University Press will host three book signings in the Carriage House. Herbert H. Harwood Jr. will be signing Royal Blue Line: The Classic B&O Train Between Washington and New York and Baltimore Streetcars: The Postwar Years, from noon to 2 p.m., on Friday, Nov. 21. Tristan Davies of Johns Hopkins University's Writing Seminars program will be signing Cake, his debut collection of short stories, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 22. Elise Hancock will sign her book Ideas into Words: Mastering the Craft of Science Writing, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 23. The Carriage House Holiday Sale takes place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 21, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 22, and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 23.
