Best-selling author and conservative columnist Michelle Malkin will speak about the security of the nation in the post 9/11 era. Known for her columns in the New York Post and National Review, Malkin will also be discussing her new book, In Defense of Internment: The Case for Racial Profiling in World War II and the War on Terror.

Malkin began her career in journalism in 1992, writing a column for the Los Angeles Daily News. In 1995, she was named a Warren Brookes Fellow at the Competitive Enterprise Institute, and soon after joined the editorial board of The Seattle Times. The only Filipino-American journalist with a nationally syndicated newspaper column, Malkin writes for Creators Syndicate and her column is published in hundreds of newspapers nationwide. She is also a frequent guest on the FOX News Channel, and has appeared on "NBC Nightly News," "The Lehrer Report" and "The McLaughlin Group," among others. Malkin's books include the New York Times best-seller Invasion: How America Still Welcomes Terrorists, Criminals, and Other Foreign Menaces to Our Shores.
