Background
Hi, I am PhD student from Johns Hopkins University (JHU), the department of Earth and Planetary Sciences.
picOriginally from Russia, I graduated with B.S in Marine Science from Coastal Carolina University (CCU) in 2013 with a strong interest in atmospheric chemistry and physics. While at CCU, I worked 2.5 years as a student research assistant at the Department of Physics and Chemistry on research project related to the changes in the mesopause polar ozone during Sudden Stratospheric Warming events.  As a graduate student at JHU,  I continue to pursue my research interests related to the coupling processes within the atmosphere, transport of chemical trace gases in the stratosphere and climate dynamics.  Outside of class and research, I enjoy traveling and spending time outdoors.
